By RADIO.COM

With both the Pfizer and Moderna coronavirus vaccines approved by the FDA for emergency use in the United States, the first round of Americans, including healthcare workers, are starting to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Public health experts have indicated that, while they expect that the vaccine will be available in 2021 to all Americans who are interested in getting inoculated, it could still be several months before the general public has access to the vaccine.

According to the CDC, a combination of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 and following mitigation best practices, like wearing a mask and maintaining social distance, will offer the best protection from the novel virus.
